Via Comic Natalie: the live-action film adaptation of Maya Murata’s “Honey Lemon Soda” — out 9th July 2021, has just released a new BTS video! The film will feature Raoul (from Snow Man) who will play the role of Kai Miura and Ai Yoshikawa who will play the role of Uka Ishimori. The film will be directed by Kouji Shinto, with the screenplay by Nami Kikkawa

“Honey Lemon Soda” follows the story of Uka Ishimori, who is very shy and has a hard time making friends. When she was a middle school student, she met Kai Miura who has distinct lemon-coloured hair. Miura is a popular student at the school, but he is distant and aloof with his peers. Ishimori decides to enrol in the same high school as Miura, overcome her shyness, and make friends.
